A portrait of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was inaugurated at Raj Bhavan in Kolkata on his birthday today.<br />'' <br />'' The State Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar unveiled it at a function this morning.<br />'' <br />'' Speaking on the occasion Mr. Dhankhar recalled the contribution of Vajpayee in nation-building. He said that during his leadership India overcame sanctions of some superpower countries and went for Pokhran tests besides winning Kargil war against Pakistan. Distinguished persons of different fields were present at the function.<br />'' <br />'' The State BJP also observed the day through various functions. Seminars, blood donation camps, distribution of blankets among the poor are highlights of the day. <br />''
