Chief Executive Officer of NITI Aayog Amitabh Kant has said, Port-led development is key for the progress of a nation. Addressing a workshop on accelerating Sagarmala implementation and engaging with states, Mr Kant cited examples of Japan, Korea and Hongkong and said Port-led development has brought immense success in these countries.<br/><br/> He said, India is focusing on developing ports across the country as it will bring down the logistic costs, generate employment and there will be a rise in country's revenue.
