On the opening hours of very first-day various school children of age group, 15-18 reached the centre. School staff in Port Blair also help in mobilising their children to the nearest centre for vaccination. A good number of school children reached the centre for having first shot of Covaxin. Around 23,000 children were to be administered with Covaxin in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. These children have been identified with the help of Education Department.
