Finance Minister and Senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley today said, the popularity of NDA is strengthening in the country. Briefing reporters in New Delhi after the meeting of NDA leaders, Mr Jaitley said, the schemes being implemented by the NDA government at the Centre for the welfare of the poor are being supported by the people in the country.He said, the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has worked towards the growth of the country's economy in difficult times and also strengthening the federal structure of the country.<br/><br/><br/>33 allies of the BJP led NDA attended the meeting which was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. BJP Chief Amit Shah also attended the meeting. Leaders of BJP allies, including the new friends it has won over in Goa and north-east states, were present in the meeting. <br/><br/>Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray, Former Punjab Chief Minister and Akali stalwart Prakash Singh Badal, Union Minister and LJP Chief Ram Vilas Paswan and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu were among those who attended the meeting.
