The one day Maoist sponsored Jharkhand bandh today evoked poor response. It has no effect in capital Ranchi although the long distance buses were off the roads as precautionary measure. Although different sources are reporting sporadic incidences here and there, but no major confirmed reports of violence has come from any part of the state so far. The bandh is in protest against the arrests of Maoist leaders in Bihar.
