Indian discus thrower Krishna Poonia came up with her season's best effort of 63.67 meters to notch up a silver medal at the Altius Track Crew Throwdown Meet at Maui Island in the US.Competing in her first meet of the season, Krishna wet beyond the 62.72 meters mark that decided the gold medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. It was also a marked improvement on her 2011 best of 62.25 meters which she achieved in October. Poonia express happiness over her performance saying that it was her first competition of the season and close to my personal best of 63.69 meter.
