In Bihar, polling is underway for the sixth phase of Panchayat elections at 906 Gram Panchayats in 58 blocks of the state amidst tight security. The polling began at 7 am and will continue up to 5 this afternoon. In Naxal affected area, polling will be up to 3 pm. eleven blocks are in naxal infested areas. AIR Patna correspondent reports that over 51 lakhs 42 thousand voters will decide the fate of 91 thousand 307 candidates.
