BJP has given tickets to all its sitting MPs in this region. It has changed its candidates in Chikkodi, Gulbarga, Raichur, Bellary and Shimoga.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">According to the seat-sharing formula, Congress is fielding 11 and JD(S) three unanimous candidates in this phase. BJP has given Gulbarga ticket to Umesh Jadav, who resigned as Chincholi Congress MLA to contest this election.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He is taking on the might of Mallikarjuna Kharge, who has the distinction of winning all the 11 elections he has fought for the state assembly and Parliament as Congress candidate.
