Polling peacefully on in MP for two assembly seats

In Madhya Pradesh, voting for Kukshi and Sonkutch assembly seats by-elections is going on peacefully. The voters could exercise their franchise till 5 pm. Our Bhopal correspondent reports that elaborate security arrangements have been made for peaceful voting in both the areas. In Kukshi assembly segment six candidates are in fray, but the main fight is being considered between Nisha Singhar of Congress and BJP’s Mukam Singh Kirade. In Sonkutch ten candidates are trying their luck. Here main fight is between Arjun Verma of Congress and BJP’s Rajendra Verma. Kukshi seat was fell vacant after death of the leader of the opposition in the state assembly Jamuna Devi while Sajjan Singh Verma had tendered his resignation from Sonkutch seat after being elected for Loksabha. Both the seats were held by Congress earlier.
