In Bihar, polling for the third phase of Assembly elections for 48 constituencies has begun at 7 this morning. Over one crore three lakh electorates will decide the political fortune of 785 candidates including 65 women. AIR Correspondent reports that most of the areas are Naxal affected. Jawans of central para-military forces have been deployed on all booths. Commandos have also been placed into service. The polling will continue till 5 pm except three Naxal affected constituencies of Patepur, Balmikinagar and Ramnagar where it will end at 3 pm. Due to security reasons polling at Taraiya and Amnaur constituencies will conclude before one hour scheduled time.Former Chief Minister Rabri Devi is contesting from two constituencies- Sonepur and Raghopur. Political bigwigs whose fate will be sealed in EVMs include five ministers Gautam Singh, Brishen Patel, Vyas Dev Prasad, Ramchandra Paswan and Smt. Renu Devi.
