The polling for the general council of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) in Leh has begun. LAHDC was constituted in 1995 to formulate annual district plan and its implementation. AIR correspondent reports that the election is being held in 24 constituencies and two constituencies have already been declareduncontested.
