Polling began at seven this morning for the re-poll at one polling station of Inner-Manipur Parliamentary Constituency.

The re-poll was necessitated due to polling of more than the number of voters at a polling station at Thoubal Moijing in Thoubal District of the parliamentary constituency which went to polls on Thursday last.

Unprecedented security measures have been taken up to ensure free and fair voting at the polling station. Voter turn-out is remarkably good.

Voters are seen standing in long queues separately for male and female in front of the polling station waiting their turn to exercise their franchise. Polling will end at four this afternoon.
