Poll counting trends across five states so far

Congress has taken a lead in Manipur winning two seats out of three results of the assembly polls announced so far. Its candidates Dr. Chaltonlien Amo won Tipaimukh Constituency while Md. Amin Shah was declared elected from Kshetrigao Constituency. NPF candidate Dr. V. Alexender Pou has won from Karong Constituency. Congress is also leading in 13 constituencies, PDF-2, NPF-1 and others two.

The first result from Goa has also gone in favour of Congress. Party candidate Mauvin Godinho has won Dabolim Assembly seat defeating his nearest rival Premanand Manockar of MGP by a margin of 944 votes. BJP is leading in 10 seats, Congress in four and others four.

In Uttar Pradesh, SP is leading in 167, BSP-93, Congress-50, BJP-49 and others 15.

In Punjab, SAD-BJP alliance is leading in 58 and Congress 51, SADM-2 and others 2.

In Uttarakhand, Congress is leading in 30, BJP -27, BSP-5, UKD-1 and others 5.
