In Kerala, campaigning is fast gaining momentum across the state for the next month's assembly election. All the major political parties have already announced their candidates for the elections. As of now, Communist Party of India Marxist led Left Democratic Front is ahead of United Democratic Front with election conventions. Despite not winning any seat in 2006 election, Bahujan Samaj Party will be contesting all the 140 seats in the state in the forthcoming poll.
