<span style="color: #222222;">The political situation in Maharashtra rocked proceedings in Parliament leading to adjournment of both the Houses till tomorrow.<br />'' <br />'' The Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha have been adjourned till 2 PM tomorrow.<br />'' <br />'' When the Lok Sabha met after the second adjournment at 2 PM,  the scene was no different as Opposition members, including from Congress and the Left, again trooped into the Well, raising slogans over the happenings in Maharashtra.<br />'' <br />'' Amidst the din, four bills were introduced, but as pandemonium continued, the House was adjourned till tomorrow.<br />'' <br />'' Earlier, when House met for the day, Opposition parties led by Congress trooped into the Well, raising slogans and displaying placards against the NDA government over government formation and role of Governor in Maharashtra.<br />'' <br />'' Speaker Om Birla objected to the raising of banners by some Congress members. He repeatedly asked them to withdraw from the House, but they continued their protest.<br />'' <br />'' Later, Mr Birla called marshals to take the members holding the banners out. This resulted in a minor scuffle.<br />'' <br />'' The Speaker tried to run the Question Hour amid uproar and called Congress MP Rahul Gandhi to question. He responded by saying it is futile and alleged that democracy has been muzzled in Maharashtra. As noisy scenes continued, Speaker Om Birla adjourned the House till 12 PM. Later, the House was adjourned till 2 PM.<br />'' <br />'' In the Rajya Sabha, similar scenes were witnessed, with the Congress-led Opposition resorting to sloganeering when the House met after its first adjournment at 2 PM. Amid noisy scenes, Deputy Chairman, Harivansh said permission cannot be granted for a discussion on Maharashtra issue. He said, Chairman Venkaiah Naidu has already clarified that the issue is sub judice.<br />'' <br />'' Later, he adjourned the House till 2 PM tomorrow.<br />'' <br />'' Earlier this morning, members from the Congress, the Left and other parties had given an adjournment motion on the issue, which was disallowed by the Chairman. Mr. Naidu said the House cannot discuss any matter which is sub judice.<br />'' <br />'' He also cited previous rulings of the House that the decision of the governor cannot be discussed without substantive motion. Following this, Opposition members started sloganeering from their seats. Amid noisy scenes, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said the people of Maharashtra had given a mandate to BJP but Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress were trying to form the government by hook or crook.<br />'' <br />''<br />''As the pandemonium continued, Mr Naidu adjourned the House till 2 PM.</span>
