Political parties try to woo voters through effective use of social media in poll-bound states

Political parties in poll-bound Mizoram, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Telangana are trying to woo the voters through effective use of social media.&nbsp;<span style="color: #333333;">In the last few years, social media has become a crucial tool in election campaigns in</span>&nbsp;the country. National and state political parties in the country have their social media cell to seek voters' support specially young and new voters who are more connected to these platforms. Politicians and political parties are using platforms like Facebook, ‘X’ formerly known as Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and others.<br />”&nbsp;<br />”As per the report of Internet and Mobile Association of India, 52 percent of Indians or 759 million Indians are active Internet users, accessing the Internet at least once a month. Out of the 759 million active Internet users in India for the year 2022, 399 million are from rural India while 360 million are from Urban India.<br />”&nbsp;<br />”<span style="color: #222222;">Through the use of social media platforms, it has become easier and faster for the public to get access to policies and political developments and form opinion on issues that matter and express their views on the same.</span><br />
