Political parties strongly condemn heinous attack in Jammu region

Prime Minister Dr Manmoahn Singh has condemned the heinous terror attack in Kathua and Samba districts of Jammu and Kashmir. In a statement, Dr Singh said, the attack is one more in a series of provocations and barbaric actions by the enemies of peace. The Pime Mnister said, such attacks will not deter India and not succeed in derailing New Delhi's efforts to find a resolution to all problems through a process of dialogue.

Defence Minister A K Antony has also condemned the attack. In a statement Mr Antony conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the family members of the officers and jawans who were martyred in the despicable attack and said the nation is with them in this hour of grief. Congress spokesperson Meem Afzal said, the act is aimed at obstructing talks between India and Pakistan.

BJP leader Prakash Javadekar lashed out at Pakistan for allowing its territory to be continuously used for terror attacks against India.
