In Uttar Pradesh, the political parties are busy to attract voters in their camps. Mulayam Singh Yadav, Narendra Modi, CM Akhilesh Yadav and Mayawati- all were on their toes on Sunday to reach at maximum places in several constituencies of western Uttar Pradesh.
While addressing a rally in Meerut, Mayawati came down heavily on Samajwadi Party government of the state and said there is complete absence of law and order in the state. She also criticised Congress for its alleged anti poor economic policies which according to her, did unparalleled damage when it was coupled with wide spread corruption.
She said that it was Congress which turned down her proposal of making western UP 'Harit Pradesh'.
While Modi addressing two separate rallies at Bijnor and Aligarh said that when Congress does not respect its own PM then who else will respect him. He said that the country has been sabotaged by the corruption and loot of Congress, which will be punished when the NDA comes to power.
