In Bihar, political parties are busy giving final touches to the list of candidates to be fielded in the ensuing six phase Assembly elections in the state.AIR Patna correspondent reports that Senior JD( U) leader and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is visiting Delhi today to discuss the name of the candidates with party President Sharad Yadav.Mr. Kumar is also likely to discuss exchange of seats with the senior leaders of BJP in the wake of delimitation of 43 seats in the state.RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav is also meeting party leaders to decide the name of candidates.Ram Vilas Paswan led LJP which has been allocated 69 seats by the RJD is likely to announce the names of candidates after final round of talks with state party chief Pashupati Kumar Paras and other leadersState Congress President Mehboob Ali Kaiser and In-charge of Party Bihar affairs Mukul Wasnik have already held a several rounds of talks with party leaders to finalise the probable candidates. A meeting of the party’s Screening Committee to finalise names of candidates will take place today in Delhi. The Committee will send the list of short listed candidates to Central Election Committee chaired by Congress President Sonia Gandhi which will clear the names. The seat-sharing arrangements among the three main left parties CPI,CPM and CPI(ML) has hit a roadblock with the allies staking claim and counterclaims to many seats.
