As just a day is left for the counting of votes, political parties are having consultations to work out their strategy in the post-poll scenario.
Congress has convened a meeting of its spokespersons this evening in New Delhi to discuss the matter. The meeting has been called by AICC general secretary Ajay Maken who is in-charge of the party's communication department.
With exit polls prediction of BJP victory in the polls, BJP has already started consultations on its strategy in Gandhinagar in Gujarat. Senior BJP leaders including party president Rajnath Singh and Narendra Modi discussed the formation of a new Government at the Center even ahead of the counting.
Party president Rajnath Singh later said that there is no rift between the party leaders and the role of party's veteran leaders in the new Government will be decided in BJP parliamentary board meeting in New Delhi on Saturday.
He had also said earlier that senior leaders will be consulted before deciding their roles in future government.
