With just a day left for the counting votes, political parties are having consultations to work out their strategy in the post poll scenario.
BJP's post-poll strategy, party President Rajnath Singh today met RSS leader Suresh Soni.Sources said the party is considering drastic changes in the organisation in the wake of its possible government formation.
Besides revamp of the party, Rajnath Singh also discussed the political situation that is likely to emerge after tomorrow's results and roping in of some more allies.BJP had already said its doors are open for any party supporting its agenda.
The meeting comes close on the heels of Rajnath's meeting with party leader Narendra Modi in Gandhinagar yesterday.Other senior leaders – Arun Jaitley and Nitin Gadkari were also present.
Reports say that while the BJP top brass is working out roles for party veterans including L K Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi in case of forming the next government, it is also working on changes within the party that includes the change of guard steering the party.
Congress has convened a meeting of its spokespersons this evening in New Delhi to discuss the matter. The meeting has been called by AICC general secretary Ajay Maken who is in-charge of the party's communication department.
