In Kerala, with only a few weeks left for the assembly polls, both the left and right parties are confronted with rebel candidates. In a latest development Sindhu Joy, the young leader of CPIM who fought against Opposition leader Ommen Chanday in 2006 election has resigned from the party. Reports indicate that she will be attending Mr Chandy's election rally at Puthuppally today. Meanwhile, Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan today filed his nomination papers from Malampuzha in Palakkad. Saturday is the last day for submission of nomination papers for single phase polls in the state on 13th April. AIR correspondent reports, the Congress led UDF will be releasing election manifesto tomorrow.
