Various political parties have condemned the MNS chief Raj Thackeray for his alleged threat to brand the people of Bihar as infiltrators and force them out of Maharashtra.
RJD spokesman Ram Kripal Yadav said the people of Bihar have a constitutional right to live in any part of the country including Maharashtra. Bihar PCC President Chaudhary Mehboob Ali Kaiser criticising Thackeray for his remarks said he has written to Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan protesting against it. NCP General Secretary Tarik Anwar said Thackeray was trying to strengthen his political base in Maharashtra by playing regional politics. BJP leader Giriraj Singh said he should be booked on charge of sedition for attacking the unity and integrity of the country.
Reacting to Raj Thackeray's threat against the people of Bihar, the Union Home Secretary Mr. R.K. Singh has said that no person can stop any Indian from going to any part of the country or settling down there. He said in New Delhi that if any person tries to stop any other Indian from doing so, action would be taken against him as per law.
