<br/>In Manipur, political parties and civil society organisation have reiterated the need for keeping the national highway open for movement of goods and people. Even two days after announcement of the suspension of economic blockade by Naga Students Federation (NSF), there is no vehicular movement on the Imphal-Dimapur National Highway. <br/> <br/>AIR correspondent, the old tribal students union Manipur, the apex tribal students body of the state, expressed concern over the continued blockade on the national highway. It has also urged the Manipur government and All Naga Stdents Association Manipur (ANSAM) and United Naga Council to resolve the crisis. <br/> <br/>Meanwhile the United Naga Forum a group of concern Naga citizens of the capital city Imphal have appealed for peaceful co-existence of all communities in the State. <br/> <br/>In the given situation, the statement of the ANSAM to take a decision on the 67 day-long economic blockage after NSF leaders return from New Delhi assume significance. <br/> <br/>Meanwhile, the government said it is committed to ensure free movement of traffic through the highways connecting Manipur and the first convoy of trucks will ply on Saturday. <br/> <br/>This was stated by an official spokesman after the meeting of the Home Secretary, Mr. G.K. Pillai with the Chief Secretary of Manipur, D.S. Poonia and the Additional Chief Secretaries of Nagaland, A. Jamir and Toshi Aier in New Delhi last evening.<br/>
