Political parleys underway ahead of APM over Srikrishna report

In Andhra Pradesh, Hectic political parleys are underway in the wake of all party meeting in Delhi over Srikrishna Committee report scheduled on Thursday. Home minister P Chidambaram has convened an all party meeting over the report submitted by Justice Srikrishna Committee that studied various circumstances in the state. Eight parties have been invited to attend the meeting in which the report of Srikrishna Committee will be revealed. The Telangana Rastra Samithi and BJP have decided not to attend the meeting. The Telugu Desam Party is yet to take a final decision whether to attend the meeting or not while the The Congress, CPI, CPM, Praja Rajyam Party and MIM have decided to attend Thursday’s meeting. Meanwhile, Finance Minister Pranab Mukharjee has convened a meeting of Congress MPs from Telangana in Delhi on Wednesday afternoon. AIR correspondent reports, the clear picture is yet to be emerged over the political parties that are going to attend Thursday’s all party meeting convened in Delhi by the Union Home minister P Chidamabram. The BJP, which has not presented its views to Justice Srikrishna Committee, has already decided to boycott the meeting. Despite the home minister having written to Telangana Rastra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao clarifying that the two members attend the meeting need not present dual views of the parties, the TRS has also announced that it will not attend the meeting. The main opposition Telugu Desam Party is yet to take decision whether to attend the meeting or not while the ruling congress, CPI CPM, Praja Rajyam Party and MIM have decided to attend the all party meeting. Meanwhile, the meeting convened on Wednesday afternoon by Finance Minister Pranab Mukharjee with the Congress MLAs from Telangana region in Delhi has gained significance.
