Congress party is holding hectic political discussions to resolve the Telengana crisis. Talking to reporters in New Delhi on Monday, Congress General Secretary in-charge of Andhra Pradesh Ghulam Nabi Azad said that discussions with party MLAs, MLCs and other Congress leaders from Andhra Pradesh have been completed but the discussion at the national level will continue. He said that this is a very delicate issue and there are no easy solutions and the resolution will take time.

Earlier noted cinema actor and Congress leader from Andhra Pradesh Chiranjeevi and former Minister Renuka Choudhary met the Core Group of the party including Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, Home Minister P Chidambaram, Defence Minister A K Antony and Ahmad Patel besides Ghulam Nabi Azad. Talking to reporters after the meeting in New Delhi, Chiranjeevi said that he was invited by the core group of the Party to give his opinion on the issue. He added that a decision on the politically sensitive issue should be taken without delay as unrest in the Telengana region is increasing.
