<br/>'Prasar Bharati Chairman A Surya Prakash has said that the political consensus is needed to repeal the Prasar Bharati Act to do anything with its entities. He was sharing his views with select reporters on the side-lines of a programme in Hyderabad yesterday. <br/><br/>Referring to news stories appearing in media over the merger of All India Radio and Doordarshan into the Information and Broadcasting Ministry, he said both the entities have been given to Prasar Bharati Corporation, an autonomous body set up by an act by Parliament. He further said the act needs to be repealed by Parliament to do anything with its entities. <br/>
