In Uttarakhand, with only three days left for campaigning before the state goes to polls on February 14, political campaigning has intensified with star-campaigners and prominent leaders of various political parties holding virtual and physical rallies and public meetings across the state.<br />'' <br />'' BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi held an election rally at Srinagar in Garhwal today. This is the first time the Prime Minister held a physical rally after the announcement of elections in the state.<br />''  <br />''Addressing the voters, Mr. Modi said that BJP's Sankalp Patra will play a big role in making this decade the decade of Uttarakhand. Mr. Modi said that new resolutions for the welfare of the youth, women, farmers of the state have been taken in the Sankalp Patra of the party. Mr. Modi said that in the last five years, the double-engine government of BJP has made all-round development of the state through projects like the all-weather road, Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail project, the Char Dham development project, Parvatmala project among others. Mr. Modi said that the people of Uttarakhand have always protected the country like a vigilant watchdog and the BJP government is building a fifth Dhaam- 'Sainya Dham' in Dehradun in honor of the martyrs of Uttarakhand. Mr. Modi remembered Late C.D.S. Bipin Rawat and paid his respects to historical heroes of the state including Rani Karnavati, Teelu Rauteli, Panthya Dada and Madho Singh Bhandari. He accused the Congress of delaying 'One Rank One Pension' scheme while in power and said that as soon as the BJP government came to power, the system of 'One Rank, One Pension' was implemented.<br />''  <br />''Congress's Senior leader Rahul Gandhi also held public rallies at Manglore in  Haridwar and Jageshwar in Almora district today. Mr. Gandhi said that Congress would give employment to 4 lakh youths if voted to power. He said that making the state successful and prosperous in every field is the priority of Congress. He said that the aim of Congress is to eradicate poverty and to this end, Rs. 40,000 will be given annually to 5 lakh poor. Mr. Gandhi said that soon BJP will be cleared from the whole country.<br />''<br />'' BSP chief Mayawati addressed a rally in Haridwar today where she raised the issue of unemployment in the state. BJP star-<br />''<br />''campaigner and Union Minister Smriti Irani also campaigned in Didihat, Bhimtal and Kaladhungi in Kumaon region of the state for the party today. Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition, Congress' Pritam Singh campaigned in state capital Dehradun today. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party's Manish Sisodia addressed a public meeting in Nanakmatta in Udham Singh Nagar and said that the people of the state want change this time. AAP leader Rakhi Birla campaigned for the party and held a press meet in Gangotri today. Other prominent leaders and workers of other political parties like Uttarakhand Kranti Dal, Left parties and independent candidates are engaged in vigorous campaigning through virtual, door to door and public meetings.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The election campaign in the state will end on the evening of February 12 and votes will be cast on February 14.</span>
