In Punjab, children upto the age of 5 years are being administered Polio drops through out the State on Sunday. More than 15,300 booths have been set up for the purpose. Seventy thousand health workers have been deployed to administer Polio drops to 38 lakh children. In next two days door to door campaign will be conducted to give Polio drops to those children who could not be given the drops on Sunday. In two districts Mohali and some areas of Ludhiana 4-day door- to- door campaign has started because a large number of migratory workers are residing in these two districts. No Polio cases have been reported in the State for more than two years.
