Police takes statement from Lone survivor of Thane murder incident

A lone survivor of the Thane murder incident Sabiya Bharmal told the police that she has no idea about intentions of her brother to go on the horrific killing. Thane police took a took a statement from the survivor this afternoon. <br/><br/>In her statement, she informed that her brother had called the entire family for a special dinner. There had been no conflict that night. He was exhibiting normal behaviour towards his parents and his wife. She said that she had no idea why her brother brutally killed them all. Police said that the victim is out of danger but still in trauma.<br/><br/>Earlier today, 35-year-old Husnain Warekar, a chartered accountant based in Kasarwadawali area of Thane murdered 14 of his family members with a knife and then hung himself to death. The incident occurred in wee hours today.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, a cameraman working with a private news channel today died of heart attack while covering the incident of gruesome murders. The cameraman, identified as Ratan Bhowmik, went to Thane Civil Hospital in the morning to cover the incident.
