A new police station was inaugurated today in Kolkata to check cyber crimes. A new ultra-modern police control room has also been set up. Chief Minister Buddhadev Bhattacharjee and Chairman of Infosys N.R.Narayanan Murty inaugurated the scheme at the headquarter of Kolkata police at Lalbazar today. The Chief Minister said that the Kolkata police will become faster in cracking cases of cyber crimes after this unit starts working.
