In Bihar, a police-outpost with additional armed force has been set up at Phulwaria- Korasi village in Naxal-affected Jamui district of the state. Twelve persons were killed and an equal number injured by armed sqad members of the outlawed Maoists a few days ago. DIG Amit Kumar told AIR that the armed force is in additional to policemen engaged in a combing operation launched in the forests of Jamui and Nawada districts. Two companies of the CRPF are already stationed at Jamui , which is considered to be one of the districts worst affected by the naxal menace in Bihar.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, Director General of Police Anand Shankar held a meeting with senior police officers at police headquarters in Patna to review the situation prevailing in Jamui district. <br/>
