In Andhra Pradesh, three persons were killed and ten injured when police opened fire to control mobs following clashes between two groups Wednesday morning at Sikh Chavani area of Hyderabad.

Trouble broke out near Sikh Chavani in the Bahadurpura area adjacent to the Old city when some miscreants burnt a religious flag during early hours.

Tension prevailed in the entire area as members of a group attacked two youths alleging that they caused the incident.

Hyderabad police Commissioner visited the spot and armed police and paramilitary forces have been rushed to the area.

The situation is still tense and curfew has been imposed in the area. More details are awaited.
