In Odisha, 30 people were injured today when police fired rubber bullets and teargas shells to evict protesters opposing the setting up of POSCO steel plant. <br/><br/>The protesters,mostly women and children, were staging protest at the entry point of the project site at Balitutha.<br/><br/>They were opposing acquisition of their land for the plant. Jagatsinghpur Superintendent of Police Debadutta Singh said police cracked down when 50 crude bombs were thrown at them. <br/>
