A Mumbai court has extended the police custody of Vindoo Dara Singh and Gurunath Meiyappan till 3rd June. Additional Metropolitan Magistrate A A Khan has also extended the police custody of Alpesh Patel, a hawala operator, and Prem Taneja, a conduit for bookies.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Crime Brach today also recorded the statement of Chennai hotelier Vikram Agarwal. Agarwal, a friend of Meiyappan for the last 15 years, allegedly led the IPL betting syndicate in Chennai. Joint Commissioner (crime) Himanshu Roy had told reporters that Agarwal, owner of Radisson Blu hotel, led the IPL betting syndicate in Chennai and was a crucial link between CSK team owner Gurunath Meiyappan and actor Vindoo Randhawa.
