In Punjab, the Police has claimed to have unearthed an international drug racket by arresting an Africa born Canadian citizen, John Mensah, and confiscating 1.5 kilogram Cocaine from his possession, from Kartarpur area in Jalandhar district. However, his accomplice, a Canadian NRI, Satnam Singh Sattu of Bhogpur managed to escape after seeing the police party. The price of this high profile party drug is 15 crore rupees in the international market. District Rural Police Chief, Yurinder Singh Hayer told the media today that probably this is for the first time that Cocaine has been recovered in Punjab.
