Police on Sunday arrested a suspected ULFA militant and recovered explosives from him. According to police, an ULFA militant was spotted at around 9.30 p.m. near the IOC refinery Noonmati in Guwahati by a joint team of police and CRPF during routine patrolling. Police recovered one kilogram RDX, half kilogram cycle iron balls and half kilogram screws from the arrested militant identified as Dharmendra Kalita, who belongs to ULFA's 109 battalion, police said.<br/><br/>The explosives were brought for blasts at the refinery and nearby places, police sources said adding interrogation is on. Meanwhile, security has been tightened up in the areas close to the refinery.<br/>
