<br/>Police in Badgam district in Kashmir valley have arrested an activist of hard line faction of Hurriyat conference after his conversation with another activist was intercepted by intelligence agencies showing involvement of Hurriyat in instigating protests and killings in the valley. Inspector general police, Kashmir range, Farooq Ahmad told this correspondent that the matter is being investigated.<br/><br/>Meanwhile curfew continues in Srinagar and many other towns for fourth consecutive day. District magistrate Srinagar Mehraj Ahmad Kakro told Air that if peace prevails during the day, curfew may be relaxed in the city later in the evening. No local news paper was published from Srinagar on the second day. Authorities have decided to issue curfew passes to all accredited journalists today.
