In Jammu and Kashmir, police and army killed three militants in an overnight gun battle in Sopur town of Baramulla district. A joint party of police and army soldiers cordoned-off an under-construction house and launched search on Thursday evening. Militants present there opened fire triggering a gun battle. Police sources say, three militants have been killed in the operation so far.
