Poland’s Ambassador to India, Prof. Piotr Klodkowski has said that a special agreement between India and Poland for co-operation in cinema is on the anvil. He said, formalities have been cleared and it is slated to be signed by early next year.

Prof. Piotr Klodkowski said this today on the sidelines of the ongoing 42nd International Film Festival of India at Panaji in Ga. Two Polish movies, ‘The Winner’ and ‘My Name is Ki’ are part of the festival under a special segment ‘Spotlight on Poland’ along with four more movies under the category.

The Ambassador said the way India likes Polish movies similarly Polish people also adore Hindi movies and the recent one was the Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam’.

He said Polish people have an old connection with India and love the generosity of Indians.
