Robert Hovhannisyan of Armenia finished second for the silver, while Delhi's Sahaj Grover bagged the bronze with a grandmaster norm to his credit. In the 29th World Junior Girls Championship, Peruvian Woman Grand Master Cori T Deysi emerged champion. India's best bet, Woman Grand Master Padmini Rout finished fourth. Russian Girya Olga who lost to Rout in the final round, got the Silver.
