In Euro Cup 2012, co-hosts Poland crashed out of the Football Championship as they lost 1-0 to the Czech Republic at Wroclaw yesterday with their opponents winning Group A. With this win the Czechs joined Greece, the 2004 champions, in the quarter-finals. In another match at Warsaw yesterday, Greece registered a surprise 1-0 win over Russia in Group A.The win left the Greeks as group runners-up ahead of the Russians on the head to head rule, both having four points to six for group winners the Czech Republic.
