Four-day Poetry Festival has begun in Kolkata this afternoon. Noted Painter Jogen Chowdhury inaugurated the festival at Rabindra Sandan Complex in the city. Speaking on the occasion Mr Chowdhury said that Poetry enriches human life and society. He said that Poetry Festival has become relevant to encourage the reading habits of the younger generation. <br />'' <br />'' Seven noted Poets including Srijato Bandyopadhyay, Binayak Bandyopadhyay, Pranab Kumar Mukhopadhyay and Subhra Bose were honoured at the function. <br />'' <br />'' Our Correspondent reports that the festival is being organized by the West Bengal Government where more than 600 poets from different parts of the state will recite their poems at seven venues in Kolkata. <br />''
