PM's visit to Portugal signifies accelerated momentum in bilateral ties :K. Nandini Singla

India's ambassador to Portugal K. Nandini Singla has said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming visit to Portugal signifies the accelerated momentum in the bilateral ties on multiple fronts in recent years. <br/><br/>In an interview to All India Radio News in Portugal capital Lisbon, Ambassador Singla said, both countries are especially looking to deepen the partnerships in the areas of future like Science, technology and research, apart from the economic and trade relations. <br/><br/>Stressing that the collaborations between Start-ups in both countries is a key priority area, she said the two sides are working on scaling up of the ideas to connect start-ups with industries into the successful business models. <br/><br/>Mentioning that a lot of progress has happened on agreements signed during Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa's visit to India in January this year, she said, there will be signing on new agreements this time as well.<br/><br/>Prime Minister Mr Modi's visit to Portugal tomorrow is part of his three nation-tour that also includes his visits to US and Netherlands.
