In Uttar Pradesh, People with disabilities have hugely welcomed the new ?and empowering word 'Divyang' given to them by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday. Differently abled persons in Sultanpur, Kushinagar, Meerut and Faizabad among other places of the state have welcomed the new and dignified word for address given to them by the Prime Minister.<br/><br/>The deaf and dumb school at Ayodhya in Faizabad was abuzz with activity on Monday, the second day of PM Modi urging people to call differently able as 'Divyang' instead of Viklang. The classes of the these kids pondered over the very word 'Divyang' given to them by Modi. <br/><br/>The teachers had elaborated the word in different ways to get the feeling sink in those differently abled kids who till then had never heard of it. They say that now they feel more empowered, energized and elated. They profusely thanked Prime Minister Modi to suggest a better word to address such people.
