<span style="color: #222222;">BJP Chief J. P. Nadda has come down heavily on Congress over Prime Minister Narendra Modi's security breach in Punjab. In a series of tweets, Mr. Nadda said,  people have seen the role of the Congress government in Punjab in the planned conspiracy to play with the Prime Minister's security. His remarks came in an apparent reaction to a private TV channel's sting which shows that ahead of Mr. Modi's visit, Punjab Police knew about protesting farmers but didn't act against them as they did not have orders from their seniors. Mr. Nadda alleged that Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and other Congress leaders made fun of such a sensitive matter and they continuously lied to the country and politicized the issue. The BJP President demanded that Congress leaders should seek an apology to the country.<br />''<br />''Meanwhile, Briefing media in New Delhi today, senior party leader and Union Minister, Smriti Irani also said the sting operation shows how Punjab Police officials continuously engaged with the Congress government to bring to light the threat to the security of the Prime Minister.  She questioned who in the Punjab government continued to deliberately ignore these threats to Mr. Modi's security.  The Minister said Congress leaders making a mockery out of the Prime Minister's security is not only disheartening but also punishable.</span><br />
