<br/>The Prime Minister's Office has ordered an internal inquiry into the lapses in the advertisement issued by the Women and Child Development Ministry on National Girl Child Day.<br/><br/>The PMO also apologized for inclusion of photograph of a foreign national in a Government advertisement on the girl child.<br/><br/>The Minister for Women and Child Development Krishna Tirath has expressed regret over the lapses.<br/><br/>The inquiry will be headed by Sudhir Kumar, Additional Secretary in Women and Child Development Ministry. <br/> <br/>A newspaper advertisement issued by the government yesterday carried a photograph of a former Pakistan Air Force chief along with that of the Prime Minister and the Congress President.<br/><br/>Congress spokesmen Manish Tewari, while admitting the lapse has said that the government has already apologized and ordered a probe in the matter.<br/><br/>The BJP strongly criticized the Government on the lapse. The party spokesman Mr Rajiv Pratap Rudy also sought a thorough enquiry into the incident.<br/>
