Prime Ministers Office has ordered an internal inquiry into the lapse in the advertisement issued by the Women and Child Development Ministry on National Girl Child Day. <br/><br/>PMO also apologized for inclusion of photograph of a foreign national in Government advertisement on girl child. The inquiry will be headed by the additional secretary Mr. Sudhir Kumar in Women and Child Devolpment Ministry.<br/> <br/>A newspaper advertisement given by the government today carried a photograph of a former Pakistan Air Force chief along with that of Prime Minister and Congress President.<br/> <br/>Congress spokesmen Manish Tewari, while admitting the lapse has said that the government has already apologized and ordered a probe in the matter.<br/> <br/>The BJP strongly criticized the Government on the lapse. The party spokesman Mr Rajiv Pratap Rudy also sought a thorough enquiry into the incident.<br/>
