Government today said, Prime Minister's Office has not permitted the Reliance Jio to use the picture of Prime Minister while launching its service. <br/><br/>In a written reply in Rajya Sabha, the Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore said, Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity, DAVP is the nodal agency for release of advertisements on policies and programmes of the government in various media vehicles. <br/><br/>He said, DAVP releases only government advertisements and not advertisements of any private body.
