PMO has clarified that Prime Minister has not made any appeal on the occasion of Diwali to only use crackers, decorative materials and sweets that are made in India. The clarification came in response to reports in a section of media that some commercial establishments are displaying an appeal purportedly made by the PM in this regard.<br/><br/>It said that any such letter or appeal showing the PM's photograph, or carrying his signature, is not authentic. However, the officials said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been a strong votary of Indian products and has often promoted the use of Khadi on various occasions.
